The Case Study House No. 22, also known as "The Stahl House" is located in the Hollywood Hills of Los Angeles, California, USA. It was designed by Pierre Koenig, given inspiration by the architect's client and later owner of the house, Buck Stahl.
Built in 1959, the Stahl House is an icon of modern architecture. In 1999, it was declared a Los Angeles Historic-Cultural Monument. In 2007, it was listed as one of the top 150 structures on "America's Favorite Architecture" of the American Institute of Architects.
